Early Voting has begun at the Courthouse in Romney and runs through May 7, from 8 am to 4 pm weekdays, and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays. Election Day, May 10, the polls are open from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm at your precinct. If you’re not sure of your precinct (there have been changes), check on http://www.hampshirewv.com for the Hampshire County Voting Area Map to confirm.
Despite there being very few Democratic candidates on the ballot in this primary, it is important that we show the strength of the Democratic Party by making the effort to vote. There’s also the important non-partisan Board of Education member issue, and some ballots will contain candidates for the Democratic Executive Committee, depending on your district. Please don’t skip these on the last page of the ballot.
